Job Description
Title: PTC Back Office Project Coordinator
Location: Winchester Cave, MO in KCMO
Duration: 12 Months 
 
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be someone who has experience assisting a Program/Project manager in managing a large program or a Project Manager who has been exposed heavily to the IT financials for a large Program/Project. The main need is to help manage Financials and Resource Booking in Clarity. This position reports to the PTC Director, Application Development.
 
Position Requirements:
•       3-5 years of managing a Project/Program in an administrative/support role with proven experience working with financial practices understanding Accruals, Operating and Capital Forecasting and Resource allocation
 
•       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information System or equivalent
 
•       Proficiency in English
 
Preferred Experience Information:
•       Previous work on a Large, Integrated Program
 
•       Understanding of CLIENT or other Railroad Operational Processes as it relates to Locomotive, Signal and Communication processes.
 
Required Skills:
•       Accuracy with financial data a must
 
•       Advanced skills in standard desktop tools including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
 
•       Experience using ticketing system such as Service Now, Remedy, Service Desk and Project Management tools such as Clarity
 
•       Ability to handle multiple priorities, professionally manage time while meeting deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment

•       Concise and effective written and verbal communication skills
 
•       Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
 
Job Duties:
•       Prepare monthly Capital Expense Forecast from historical data and provided input, capture and maintain details, present and seek approval
 
•       Prepare quarterly Operating Expense Forecast from historical data and provided input, capture and maintain details, present and seek approval
 
•       Prepare and Update financial model to enable fiscal year planning
 
•       Maintain resource allocation for multiple projects in a Program and update into Clarity and Cost Tracker
 
•       Maintain Program Plan as required
 
•       Maintain and Update Cost Model Template, requiring enhanced Excel skills
 
•       Prepare monthly Accruals accurately
 
•       Working with various teams and vendors to gather input for Financial Process
 
•       Provide administration support for facility as needed (floor plan, vending, supplies, contact lists, vacation calendars, etc)
